Bandai Namco has shared the opening footage of their long-awaited platforming compilation Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series which launches this summer on multiple platforms. The two remastered games in the Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series collection are Klonoa: Door to Phantomile and Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil. The PlayStation and Xbox versions of the collection run at 60fps and the tech sheet says that the Nintendo Switch version runs up to 60fps, which is great. I highly, highly recommend these games to anyone who’s a fan of platformers.
It is a bit sad though that these games aren’t getting a physical release in North America (when Europe/Japan are getting physical copies for the full range of consoles). I’m glad Nintendo reversed their dumb region locking with the Switch at least, so I’ll be able to play the UK Switch copy I ordered.
That’s why I’m going to wait for reviews to come out before I decide whether or not I’m going to buy it.
Man its been ages since I played Klonoa 2, looking forward to replaying the game again!
Never played these so I’m happy to give them a shot this time around
