Fans of RPG games received a lot of love in today’s Nintendo Direct. There were a lot of RPG and strategy games announced for the Nintendo Switch in the Direct. One of the RPGs announced was a remaster of Chrono Cross, which released on the PlayStation 1 in Japan in 1999, and in North America in 2000.
Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition will be releasing on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in a couple of months, on April 7th. The official Chrono Cross Twitter account also tweeted the news, so we’ve included the tweet they posted for you to check out down below.

I have wanted an official release of Radical Dreamers for longer than some of our commenters have been alive.
Fun fact, “cronotose” evolved from one of my earliest email addresses, a haphazard Chrono Trigger reference.
This is a hype train announcement. I expect that like most of Square’s recent Switch rereleases, there’ll be a physical cart released in asian markets, but with all english options on cart.

Chrono Cross has always been on my list but I never got around to it. I’m looking forward to this edition.
Love playing classics, literally apart of my childhood. My favorite classics are .Hack G/U, Legend of mana and Secret of Mana. Also anticipating .Hack G/U for The Switch.
Would love a XenoGear and/or XenoSaga classic port or remaster.
