I feel like summer is always a busy season when it comes to the gaming industry – it’s no different in our company, so I wasn’t surprised when we decided to make House Flipper available through Xbox Game Pass. My job is to act as a bridge between our developers and players – I gather feedback from you, but that’s the easiest part of what I do; the real fun begins when I’m trying to convince the rest of our team that we should implement some really massive changes into the game based on your opinions and ideas. Needless to say, I’m thrilled to announce that we’ve teamed up with Microsoft to expand our horizons and make the community even more enormous.
I’m hoping to reach as many new people as possible, so it’s only fair to describe what House Flipper is about. It would be a piece of cake in an ideal world, but in reality, it’s not that simple. I can tell you all about fancy mechanics and the freedom that comes with buying your own house just to renovate it, design the interiors, perfectly place the furniture, and then sell it with a profit. Yeah – grab your hammer! It’s time to take a bit of a rude approach and knock some walls down. Get rid of broken glass shards, litter, and leftover pieces of furniture, to prepare the place for a complete makeover! It’s up to you to either meet every single requirement of specific buyers or make yourself a cozy office to grow your business in. Duh, you can even recreate your own living room in the game.
Sure! It’s cool, but I feel like I’m just scratching the surface here. I’m happy to say that we care – since the very beginning, creating an outlet for our players to express their creativity has been our main priority. You have no idea how heartwarming it is to come into work every morning and read all the comments stating that the game we made actually helps to relieve stress and to just let things go. Even though I don’t always have time to just sit and chat with you, I really appreciate being a part of this community – it’s active, it’s supportive, and it’s full of fantastic players ready to share their experiences with each other.
I see a huge opportunity to make our community even more significant, and yeah – one day, we’ll cross the line, and it will get challenging to stay in touch with you on a personal level. Still, I’m here to make sure we will always be doing our very best to keep doing what we do right now.
That being said, I’m counting on you to spread the word that it got so much easier to share the experience of creating your renovating empire and taking care of some old fixer-uppers with friends and family. I can’t wait to see screenshots of your fabulous interior designs – just keep in mind that my team and I are always here to support you.
