You may recall that, during the final Super Smash Bros. Ultimate presentation that revealed Sora as the game’s final DLC fighter last fall, Sakurai also provided information about upcoming amiibo releases. For example, the Steve and Alex amiibo were going to be releasing in spring of this year.
Unfortunately that has now changed. Nintendo has confirmed that, due to a “logistics and production delay”, that the release of the Steve and Alex amiibo has been delayed to later this year. The good news is that, not only is the Min Min amiibo still on the way, you will be able to get it on April 29th. Nintendo’s official tweets about the matter are down below.

The Hunt will begin again soon. BE PREPARED!!! lol cue The Lion King song, NOT the one from the shitty remake
+Infinity Ridley
I remember when someone showed the “Long Live the King” line in the remake, I burst into laughter at how bad it was.
Never mind the delivery of that line, it was Simba witnessing his father falling and screaming “NOOOOOO!!!” that got me. In the original animated one, you can see the horror in Simba’s eyes; in the remake, it just looks like a cat meowing.
I knew that scene was gonna look bad in the, ahem, “live-action” remake, but I didn’t expect it to look so bad that I chuckled at it. They messed up an iconic and maybe traumatic death scene so badly that it became funny.
Get your preorders in now, folks!
